"After 4 months, Jayendrar in Sankaramatam Patashala"

Kanchipuram, March 27: Jayendrar, who was arrested in the Varadaraja Perumal Temple manager Sankarraman murder case, came on Saturday to the Sankaramatam-run Vedapatashala in Vedal village for the first time in 4 months.

The Supreme Court granted him bail in the Sankrraman murder case. Following this, he has been staying in Kalavai and doing pujas daily. At this stage, Jayendrar has obtained anticipatory bail in the Thirukottiyur Madhavan assault case in Chennai First Sessions Court and in the Ravi Subramaniam threat case in the Chennai High Court.

The courts have ordered him to be present and give signature every Saturday at 2 pm at the Forest Bungalow in the Thirukottiyur Madhavan case, and at Siva Kanchi police station in the Ravi Subramaniam threat case.

Present at Forest Bungalow

Jayendrar came from Kalavai , where he is staying, in his van with his assistants at 2:10pm. After his assistants got down [from the van] at the gate of the Forest Bungalow, he proceeded inside in the van along with Attorney A. Shanmugam. After affixing his thumb impression in the register in connection with both cases, he came out at 2:20pm and went straightaway to the Vedapatashala in Vedal Village, which is on Chennai-Bangalore National Highway.

He was given a very special welcome. The Patashala students chanted Veda Parayanam to welcome him. After staying at the Patashala for about 1 hour, he left for Ranipettai
