4. "Praying to your beloved deity, obtain wellbeing": Jayendrar's Blessing
Kalavai: Jayendrar has requested: "Pray to your Ishta Daivam, may all obtain wellbeing."
Jayendrar [Swamigal], who stays in Kalavai, is visiting the temples in that area for darshan. Day before yesterday being Pradosham, he went to a Siva temple in Kalavai for darshan. When he went to Kalikambal temple in Kalavai yesterday, he was received with 'Poorna Kumbam' respects by the temple authorities. After darshan, he blessed devotees. Following this, he spoke to the devotees as follows:
"Siva from Kailasam is blessing all of us from there itself. As in Kailasam, Siva is in every village in some form and is blessing all of us.
In every family, there is a kula daivam [family deity] and an ishta daivam [beloved deity] they pray to. In the same way, by praying to whatever deity is beloved to your mind, obtain well-being - I bless you."
Thus spoke Jayendrar [Swamigal].
Then, he went to the Nagaathamman Temple there and conducted prayers. Continuing thru today (26th) evening, 4pm, he will go to Vaalajapettai. There, he will have darshan at Vinayakar Temple in Belliappa town, Karumari Amman temple, Iyappan Temple, Sri Rama Bhakta Aanjaneya temple, Amman Temple and Bhajan Temple.
On the coming 28th evening, he will be going to Yantra Saneeswara Bhagawan temple in Thiru Eeri Kuppan village, next to Arani in Thiruvannamalai District. Jayendrar, who was remaining in Kalavai matam, has now undertaken a devotional tour.
Moreover, He, no longer observing 'mouna vrath' [silence], renders devotional talks. The devotees are invigorated by this.
Pournami Puja [Puja on Poornima or Full Moon Day]: Pournami puja was conducted in Kalavai. Jayendrar [Swamigal], who stays in Kalavai, is conducting several pujas and yagnas for the welfare of the people of the world. He performed Chandramouleeshwar puja yesterday morning. Following chanting of the Vedas, he performed Pournami puja. Hundreds of devotees took part in this.
